Ingrid Maes is co-Founder and Managing Director at Inovigate, based in Basel, Switzerland and Antwerp, Belgium. Ingrid has 30+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life science sector, and 15 years’ experience in international leadership roles at Siemens and PwC. She is an expert in R&D, manufacturing, commercial and regulatory compliance and bridges the scientific / technology world with the strategy and finance aspects of the business. Ingrid focuses on providing industry insight, market analysis, vision development, strategy formulation. She has conducted multiple business and corporate strategy projects on growth, profitability, new market, market access, portfolio, innovation, R&D, externalisation and collaboration strategies. She brings insights into the future of the sector. She is a member of various think tanks and advised FDA and EMA on adoption of innovative technologies. Ingrid has a Master in Engineering Sciences – Chemistry & Biotechnology, Medicinal chemistry from the University of Brussels.
