In June 2018, he took a decisive turn in his career. Thomas quit his job and decided to dedicate his life to clean rivers. A big part of all plastics in our oceans comes from rivers! Thomas wanted to tackle the problem at its source and founded River Cleanup with the ambition to implement structural solutions to make rivers-plastic free! Together, river by river.
