Daniel Wiedemann is responsible for the Digital Strategy at Roche Diabetes Care in Belgium. He has an educational background in economics and worked as a sales representative and trainer in the German affiliate of Roche Diabetes Care. During that time he realized that a traditional organization like Roche has to transform itself in many areas to stay competitive and to make use of the potential of digitalization. Excited about this big challenge, he started a master program in “Digital Management & Transformation”. There he was inspired to develop an easy to understand framework, which guides companies through the digital transformation. With his clear vision of the future, his passion and his good (sometimes bad) sense of humor, Daniel convinces people of not being afraid of the term and consequences of digitalization. Instead he is confident that it’s a new era we are living in – with lots of opportunities to seize.
